I have made a lot of things in artistic ways. I am working on a novel, make magazines, have made tabletop games, make comics and occasionally put up pictures of my characters. Everything else is random stuff that I either make up on the spot or decided to put up here.

Draft complete

Today I finished making the draft of what is currently known as Hale Kane #18. On the 4th of April 2021 I started what I think is the third version of the comic (the first was done in January 2016) and very much enjoyed the process. Just a few minutes ago I finished it, and so we'll see how things pan out from here. I think I will go and look at past comics and see what I think of what I've done now and how that compares to my previous work. At the moment and for the past week I've been happy with what I've been doing and so hopefully that doesn't change. Something that I've been thinking about since around 2018 is the idea that this new approach to making comics should come with a new look and name. On the other hand, I want to celebrate the resurrection of Hale Kane Comics and just change the visuals slightly to show that it's a new era. I will continue to dwell on this. Meanwhile, I'm happy and hopefully I do end up making three comics this year. Cheers!

My biggest problem with Hale Kane is that I haven't made a comic in three years. I think that I need to just make Hale Kane #18, dwell on it for a while, and then make the changes that I think I need to so that I keep things moving forward. With that in mind, I just need to draw all of the panels and then the comic will be done. That's over 120 panels. The best way to deal with the amount of work that this will take is to break it down into chunks and deal with each segment. I should think about what I like about each segment and from then on I can enjoy making it.

Hale Kane wins COVID-19

Hey guys,
I've been taking this opportunity of isolation to work on my comics and other creative efforts, and not only Hale Kane #18 but #19 as well have been written. I will soon begin writing Hale Kane #20, which was the furthest that the old ideas got. At this stage now I'm not sure what will happen in future comics. I know vaguely what I want to happen, but the core elements of the story are yet to form for me.
Nevertheless, 2020 has still been good for me and Hale Kane Comics will make a strong return with possibly three comics completed by the end of the year!
